Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. What we collect

We collect your email address when you create an account. We store the tasks, notes, and other content you create within Slate. We do not collect any additional personal information.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the Slate service to you. We use your email address to send account confirmation emails, password reset links, and optional daily task reminders (which you can turn off at any time in settings).

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as described below.

3. Third-party services

Slate is built on Supabase for database and authentication, and Resend for transactional email. Your email address and task data are stored on Supabase infrastructure. Email is sent via Resend. Both services are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers in the EU (Ireland). We use row-level security to ensure your data is only accessible to you and anyone you explicitly share it with.

5. Shared Slates

When you share a Slate with another user, that user will be able to see the tasks within it. You control who has access and can revoke access at any time.

6. Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data from our systems. You can also request a copy of your data by emailing us.

7. Cookies

Slate uses minimal local storage in your browser to maintain your session and remember your preferences such as dark or light mode. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of Slate after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

9. Contact

If you have any questions about your data or this policy, please contact us at slate@hverry.com.
